About the Jam

The North Bend Jam is a gathering of bluegrass musicians on the third Saturday of the month at the Mount Si Senior Center, in North Bend, WA.

This jam is an acoustic jam of bluegrass music that features singing, harmony and instrumentals.

Bluegrass instrumentation is typically made up of guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, bass and dobro.

The jam is focused on playing and sharing specifically bluegrass music amongst musicians and community members who come to listen.

The jam does not host a showcase or performance. It's a picker's gathering. Know that you'll have an appreciative audience nearby enjoying your music.

The jam starts at 6:30 pm and goes till 11:00 pm. Be sure to check the calendar link for current dates.

Donations


This is a user supported jam by donation. Donations collected pay for rental of the senior center, flyers, coffee, treats and supplies. Your contribution is greatly appreciated! A donation container is on a table with the coffee and snacks. Please help support the cost of the jam.

The Mount Si Senior Center has been most gracious allowing the use of their site to host bluegrass jam sessions.

1) Travel Interstate 90 Eastbound


2) Take Exit 31 (the mall, gas stations & McDonalds are at this exit)


3) Turn left off the ramp (go approx. 3/4 mile. Head into the town of North Bend)


4) Turn right onto Park Street (before railroad tracks)


5) Go 1 block (4 way stop)


6) Turn right on Main. The Senior Center is on the right. Parking is at the center.
